Other Faiths
We follow the guidance from the Catholic Bishops' Conference which states that Religious Education must provide pupils with a basis of knowledge and theological understanding of the Catholic faith, and an awareness of the faith and traditions of other religions in order to respect and understand them.
Learning about the religion and cultures of those who do not share the Catholic faith is one of the ways in which we embody the call ‘to love one’s neighbour’. We seek, through the learning of other faiths to try to understand better the religion of our neighbours, and to experience something of their religious life and culture.
Each term, we spend a day learning about another World Religion. Each class focusses on a different aspect of the religion
